Pumping units of An 718-7 and 8 wells in Langnan Operation Area of the Fourth Oil Production Field of PetroChina Huabei Oilfield Company
1. Excellent energy-saving performance. The original pumping unit motor capacity of the two oil wells was 74 kW (37 x 2), while the beamless hydraulic pumping unit only requires 22 kW, achieving an energy savings of up to 70%. If a single unit is used for multiple wells, energy savings will increase even further.
2. Unmanned operation is a key feature of smart oilfields, fully meeting the intelligent requirements specified by the oilfield.
3. In terms of safety, the reduction of mechanical parts and the lowering of high-altitude operation risks are achieved. At the same time, automatic control of overload, overpressure, overtemperature, and oil tank liquid levels ensures safe operations.
4. Significant economic advantages. Unlike traditional pumping units, there are no gearboxes, belts, belt consumption, four-link mechanisms, donkey heads, crossbeams, or walking beams, resulting in lower manufacturing costs.
5. Strong practicality, operations such as balancing, stroke adjustment, and pitch adjustment can be done directly on the screen, without brake adjustments or offset wear, making the operation easier for workers and well-received.
6. Easy assembly and disassembly, convenient transportation, compact footprint, and easy to manufacture.
7. During installation in both the North China Oilfield and Jilin Oilfield, workers found the operation simple, the labor intensity reduced, and the feedback was highly positive.
8. In terms of industrial IoT, remote operation is possible via mobile phones, with an RS485 interface to meet the oilfield requirements.
9. In oil production, adjusting the parameters for oil extraction is very convenient, and it is greatly appreciated by technical staff. Data can be remotely accessed, and downhole failures such as sand, wax, and water-related faults can be effectively diagnosed, reducing the labor intensity of technical personnel.
10. Regarding electrical control, the electrical and hydraulic control systems are integrated and skid-mounted, with high motor efficiency, improving the power factor, avoiding reactive power fines, and overcoming power grid pollution.
